The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance.
What is a sporting chance?

We Love Lichfield is a local fund that provides small grants to a wide range of projects based in Lichfield District. The fund will consider all applications from local groups in need twice a year. Companies and individuals are welcome to donate or fund-raise and all money is invested through a permanent endowment fund by registered charity The Community Foundation For Staffordshire on behalf of We Love Lichfield in line with charity commission guidelines.22
Cricket Club, in association with We Love Lichfield and The Lords Taverners,
will be hosting an action packed weekend of cricket between Friday 13th and
Sunday 15th July, which will include some of the biggest names in the game.
weekend kicks off with a Sportsman's Dinner at the club on Friday evening,
where Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan will be guest speaker accompanied
by Test Match Special's Charles Dagnall as MC. The evening is open to anyone over 18

new captain Cal Heanan will take on a Lords Taverners XI lead by
ex-Warwickshire and Derbyshire seamer Tim Munton, who also made 2 appearances

3 course meal, auction, raffle and afternoon tea, which will also be attended
by celebrities Chris Tarrant and Nick Hancock. Tickets are available at £55 per
ticket for adults (£100 for adults attending both the Friday and Sunday events)
and £150 for a family of 4 (Sunday only), with additional children's tickets available at £20
each. Entry to the ground is free for spectators and the club will also have a
big screen to watch the World Cup final at 4pm.
will also be hosting a target hitting final at the tea interval which is open
to all clubs and players in the local area. For spectators not eating in
the marquee, there will be street food vans available to the general public, in
addition to other activities and games throughout the day, including regular
photo opportunities with celebrities and players.

We Love Lichfield and The Lords Taverners, with all proceeds being reinvested
directly into the Lichfield & District area, so please support the club in
